Damn it's hard to keep up with the world. Doyce is in the hospital with some kind of mystery disease. He's getting better but still, scary. Jon is in the middle of a life changing type crisis. To you both, hang in there.
As for me, the house progresses, slowly but surely. We are almost to the "construction" phase, as opposed to the "destruction" phase which was very dirty. It is now a little overwhelming to walk into the house, you can see all of everything because there are very few walls left. Also, deer season opened this weekend (the 17th to be precise). We were legal to start shooting at 7:01am. We were done by 8:45am. One husky 3/4 point buck, one yearling buck and one less than yearling doe (see also fawn). I wouldn't have taken the little doe but someone else had taken a shot and broken her leg. We tracked her down to put her out of her misery. Besides, "them's good eatin'!" as the new state motto of South Dakota goes.
